Verified by Visa
Verified by Visa is a security program designed to protect the online shopper. This service allows cardholders to add a personal password to your existing plastic card that will be used to validate your identity when making a purchase at participating online merchants as well as helping prevent unauthorized use of your card number. The validation process will require you to enter a password in a special Verified by Visa pop-up window.

Treasury Credit Union has already enrolled with our card processors to initiate this process. We have chosen the option to not let our cardholders opt out of entering their passwords when making a purchase online. This means that if the merchant is participating in Verified by Visa security program, you will not be allowed to make a purchase without already having signed up your credit card with a personal password. This new technology not only protects your Visa card number as an online consumer from fraudulent and unauthorized activity, it also protects the financial institution as well.

A window will appear. Submit your password; your identity will be confirmed and you're done.

You're then returned to the online store.
